Zecurion Executive Delegation Concludes Strategic South Africa Visit, Cementing Channel Partnerships and Accelerating DLP Adoption Across African Markets

Zecurion, a vendor of the Next Generation Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and insider threat protection, announced the successful completion of its executive country visit to South Africa. Held from 17 to 22 February 2026, the week-long engagement, hosted in partnership with master distributor Tech Wise Solutions, brought together Zecurion’s global leadership with regional channel partners to address the accelerating demand for people- and data-centric security across the African continent.
The delegation, comprising Artem Smirnov (Head of Presales), and Garry Kondakov (Director of Global Business Development), conducted high-level strategic sessions in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. The visit underscores Zecurion’s commitment to the African market as organizations grapple with digital transformation, evolving regulatory landscapes, and increasingly sophisticated insider threats.
Strategic Channel Enablement in Johannesburg
The official program commenced on 17 February in Johannesburg with a comprehensive partner summit. The session provided the Tech Wise Solutions team and its channel network with direct insights into the evolving global threat landscape and Zecurion’s product roadmap. In addition to in-person collaboration, the team conducted targeted virtual engagements with regional partners, including sessions with Kristel (Kenya).
The discussions focused on enabling partners to position DLP not merely as a compliance tool, but as a strategic business enabler. The following day, the Zecurion team delivered deep technical training to the Tech Wise Johannesburg engineers, ensuring the local ecosystem is fully prepared to deliver and support complex enterprise deployments.
Expanding the Ecosystem in Cape Town
The delegation continued to Cape Town on 19 February for a series of partner engagements. A key highlight was a working session with MiDO Academy, focusing on workforce development and the critical need for embedding data- and people-centric security principles into customer environments from the ground up. With leadership insights from Peter Kohlöffel and technical depth from Artem Smirnov, the Cape Town meetings reinforced a unified market message: insider risk is the new perimeter, and African enterprises are prioritizing proactive data protection.
The Strategic Value of In-Person Engagement
While much of the global cybersecurity industry has shifted to virtual communication, Zecurion’s decision to conduct an intensive on-the-ground visit reflects a core strategic principle: trust in the channel is built face-to-face. Meeting with regional partners in person allowed for nuanced discussions that transcend standard sales calls.
These conversations enabled the Zecurion leadership to engage directly on the unique regulatory and cultural challenges facing African enterprises — nuances that often differ significantly from global assumptions. Being on the ground also provided an opportunity to validate partner capabilities firsthand, ensuring that enablement strategies are precisely aligned with the technical demands of complex enterprise deployments. Furthermore, the engagement with MiDO Academy highlights a forward-looking approach to market development. By collaborating with educational institutions, Zecurion is investing in the next generation of cybersecurity talent, ensuring that the principles of data-centric security are embedded into curricula and creating a sustainable talent pipeline that benefits the entire African ecosystem.
"Meeting face-to-face with our partners and the academic community is not just a courtesy; it is a strategic necessity," commented Garry Kondakov, Director of Global Business Development at Zecurion. "The African market requires a tailored approach. You cannot understand the urgency of a partner in Lusaka or the technical needs of an academy in Cape Town through email alone. These conversations build the mutual trust required to tackle complex data security challenges together."
"Engaging directly with our partners on the ground in South Africa has been invaluable. It is clear that the African market is maturing rapidly, moving beyond basic cybersecurity hygiene to seek sophisticated, context-aware DLP solutions," said Alexey Raevsky, CEO at Zecurion. "The level of engagement from Tech Wise Solutions and their channel partners demonstrates a strong alignment with our vision. We are not just selling technology; we are building a security ecosystem."
The visit concluded with a reinforced partner alignment strategy for the coming fiscal year. By bridging global expertise with local market intelligence, Zecurion and Tech Wise Solutions are positioned to lead the charge in securing Africa’s digital future against data loss and insider threats.
